The thing about being a trained filmmaker and photographer? You learn to see what people are REALLY saying.
Every staged smile, every forced pose, every "perfect" moment that screams desperation louder than any caption ever could.
Social media is full of people performing happiness while their eyes tell a completely different story. The body language doesn't lie. The timing reveals everything. The coordination shows the agenda.
When someone suddenly needs to prove how "blessed" they are after weeks of silence? When the photos look like a PR campaign instead of genuine moments? When you can literally see the reluctance in someone's face even as they smile?
Beautiful, that's not love. That's damage control.
I became a photographer because I'm fascinated by how fakeness bleeds through every pixel. The camera catches what people think they're hiding. And once you know how to look? You can't unsee it.
Some people perform their lives. Others just live them.
Guess which one looks more convincing?
Just like that, Let's Play. đ
